Fresh SimCity BuildIt ideas, Techniques & tactics

SimCity BuildIt offers plenty of challenges for players that like city-building and resource-collecting games. These guidelines, simcity buildit money cheat and techniques will help flourishing town-organizers away by ensuring their city’s beginning foundation is as solid as possible.

Plan Ahead

Every time you place a residential zone at SimCity BuildIt, remember that if the zone is not insured by the necessary city services, the construction will ultimately become abandoned and will not create any tax income for you. This is awful.

As you put fire stations, police stations, and so forth, pay attention to their area of effect. You want to find the best coverage possible, so putting a fire station right in the corner of your town zone isn’t the smartest move, since the fire station’s area of effect will be overflowing into the deadzone, where you can not construct.

Additionally, remember that factories and support buildings don’t have to be coated by firefighter/police/etc. protection. Notice the way in the picture above I have positioned my 2 fire stations to blanket the residential areas, but abandoned the industrial structures (bottom left) nicely out of the zone.

Sell Your Excess

Your factories ought to always be functioning. As you perform, queue up a few of the resources with the faster turn-around, and until you leave the video game to go do something else, queue up a few of the resources that take extended amounts of time to make.

Sometimes thought bubbles pop up with a golden coin in them. If they’re popped, a town informant informs you of their potential to market your resources for a few coins. Unless the deal is really weak, it’s best to always market the lower-tier resources, since you could always get them back in a couple of minutes with the factories anyway.

There is no expense to up-rooting a residential area and plopping it down into another acceptable site. Same goes factories and town services like government buildings and power plants. There is also no cost for paving roads.

With this in mind, it may make getting out of a poorly-planned scenario super simple: simply extend the road out and fold it around, or just drag it into a dead-end. Then move the buildings you will need to move out of the way into the freshly-paved road, then rotate the structures in and out as necessary.

The Path to Nowhere Success

Dead-ends are your friends in SimCity BuildIt.

Look at my town in the picture above; note that extending out of the side of my town is a long road all alone? In the end of the road is the sewer plants that maintain my town smelling fresh. They smell awful, which is the reason why they are the way up there.

Because roads are free, there is no reason why you need ton’t maintain those stinky buildings (factories included) as far away from your residents as possible. While their location comes with an area-of-effect stink-zone, their services provided don’t. As long as they’re connected to the road, they’ll service the town, however far out you put them.

Expand With Caution

I discovered I was constantly getting access to more residential areas than I could encourage.

After a little, I realized that is ok, and instead I concentrated my efforts on enhancing what I already had.

Resist the urge to fill your whole map with buildings and roads. Concentrate on some of the map to start with, or you’ll just be extending your resources too thin and will have trouble making much progress. Bear in mind, the larger the building is, the more people can dwell in it, and all those people will pay you taxes.
